Screen grab of Justin Bieber performing at the Grammys in 2011.

Arcade Fire, Month of May, 2011
It was weird, noisy, involved a megaphone and a high-pitched scream, and there were no backup dancers. And it all happened the night the Montreal-based band shocked the music world by winning the Grammy for Album of the Year for The Suburbs.

Celine Dion, My Heart Will Go On, 1998
According to this video, fans voted Celine Dion's live rendition of the song from the film Titanic the second-best Grammy performance ever. Apparently Dion was supposed to sing another song in a duet with Barbra Streisand, but Streisand fell ill and Dion had to carry the show solo. Her heart went on.

Shania Twain. Man I Feel Like a Woman, 1999
The same fans voted this performance to be the fifth best Grammy performance ever. The song was one of the many hits from her crossover album Come on Over. Speaking of crossover, this performance is from 1999 but the band is apparently from the 1980s.

Drake, with Lil Wayne and Eminem, Forever, 2010
Two high-powered rappers performed with the still relatively unknown Drake, whose breakout album Thank Me Later would be released six months later. A lucky break for the Toronto singer.

Justin Bieber, with Jaden Smith and Usher perform Baby, Never Say Never and OMG, 2011
A still babyish Bieber sings an acoustic version of his mega-hit, then Japanese drummers come out, then he sings Never Say Never, then Will Smith's daughter joins him, then they both leave and Usher sings his hit OMG, and then Usher brings his protege back out for the finale. Nothing to it.
