Hollywood actress Halle Berry and her Canadian boyfriend of four years Gabriel Aubry have officially called it quits.
U.S. media reports say a representative for Berry confirmed the breakup Sunday, saying they split "a while ago."
The rep tells UsMagazine.com that the 43-year-old actress and the 34-year-old Montreal model remain good friends and committed parents to their two-year-old daughter Nahla.
Aubry first acknowledged the split in a statement early Saturday.
Calling the actress "one of the most special and beautiful people that I have ever known," Aubry said he is certain they will continue to love and respect each other.
Berry and Aubry first met at a 2006 Versace photo shoot.
