Telefilm Canada says Goon director Michael Dowse and Baruchel, who co-wrote the film with Pineapple Express and Superbad scribe Evan Goldberg, will be among those attending the awards bash.

The presentation takes place June 18 at Toronto's Hockey Hall of Fame.

Goon was a box office hit from the moment it opened in February, 2012, beating out Hollywood imports its first weekend out and going on to surpass the $3-million mark.

Seann William Scott starred as a bouncer-turned-hockey-enforcer who muscles his way through the minor leagues. Baruchel co-starred alongside Liev Schreiber, Eugene Levy, Allison Pill and Marc-André Grondin.

Telefilm says Hockey Hall of Fame goaltender Johnny Bower and co-stars Grondin, Jonathan Cherry, David Paetkau, George Tchortov and Richard Clarkin will also be at the awards presentation.
