Retired baseball superstar Alex Rodriguez and pop star/actress Jennifer Lopez are engaged, he revealed in an Instagram post late Saturday night.
A photo of (presumably) their hands and a large emerald engagement ring was accompanied by the caption “she said yes” followed by a heart.
The pair, who each have two children from previous marriages, began dating in February, 2017.
Rodriguez, 43, retired from baseball in 2016 and now works as an analyst for Sunday Night Baseball on ESPN.
He was previously married to Cynthia Scurtis, but the couple divorced in 2008 after six years.
Lopez, 49, has been married three times. She was most recently married to singer Marc Anthony, but they were divorced after 10 years of marriage in 2014.
