Michael Buble has come in at No. 5 on the Forbes list of the world's 25 highest-paid musicians.
Forbes says the 35-year-old British Columbia crooner, whose latest hit album is Crazy Love, earned $70 million from May 2010 to May 2011 through his concert tour, heavy radio play and strong album sales.
Teen pop sensation Justin Bieber of Stratford, Ont., ranked No. 9 with $53 million, making him the youngest on the list.
His money makers over the past year included an international tour, a new album, the biopic Never Say Never and a perfume line.
Irish rockers U2 top the list at $195 million, made largely through what Forbes calls "the most lucrative tour in the history of music."
Coming in No. 2 is Bon Jovi with $125 million earned through a tour and a greatest hits album.
British hitmaker Elton John clinched the No. 3 spot at $100 million and pop spectacle Lady Gaga is No. 4 with $90 million.
Rounding out the Top 10: Paul McCartney at No. 6 ($67 million); the Black Eyed Peas at No. 7 ($61 million); the Eagles at No. 8 ($60 million); and Dave Matthews Band at No. 10 ($51 million).
Forbes says its numbers encompass all pretax income earned from May 2010 to May 2011, before subtracting agent and manager fees.
The totals were compiled with the help of data from Pollstar, RIAA and others, as well as interviews with industry insiders.
