The latest ethereal soul singer attracting tastemaker attention is Jessy Lanza, the Hamilton-based artist who shares screen time in the video to her single Kathy Lee with "Jed the Dancing Guy," a happy chappy who prances around Steeltown without a care.

Perhaps he's listening to chilled techno-house soundtrack or relaxed beat or the ice-castle synths supplied by the track's producer, Jeremy Greenspan of Junior Boys.

Then again, all he might hear is Lanza's gently gusting vocals, "Fell in love with you, boy, whatcha gonna do?" Jed will dance, that much is clear. Now, how about you?
