Pop sensation Justin Bieber performs during his "My World Tour" concert at Foro Sol in Mexico City, Saturday Oct. 1, 2011. Representatives for Bieber say they will "vigorously" pursue their legal options to defend against allegations that he fathered the child of a now 20-year-old California woman.

Justin Bieber is nobody's baby daddy.

The woman who claimed Bieber fathered her infant son has dropped her paternity suit against the Canadian pop star.

The celebrity gossip site TMZ has reported that plaintiff Mariah Yeater, 20, has revoked her claim against Bieber. Yeater's lawyers, Lance Rogers and Matt Pare, have also withdrawn from the case, according to the report.

"As we've said from the beginning, it's sad that someone would fabricate such a malicious, defamatory, and demonstrably false claim. We'll continue to consider all of our options to protect Justin," the singer's spokesman, Matthew Hiltzik, said in a statement on Wednesday.

Yeater, who gave birth to a baby boy last July, recently made headlines with her claim that she met Bieber backstage at a concert in Los Angeles in October of 2010 and that they had sexual relations in a washroom.

Bieber responded to the allegation by saying he would take a DNA test to prove he was not the child's father, and planned on countersuing Yeater once the results were revealed. "I know I¹m going to be a target, but I'll never be a victim," said Bieber, 17, during an appearance on The Today Show last week.

Sources say Bieber and his legal team intended to make an example of Yeater in order to deter others tempted to make similar claims in the future.
