Moss vs. Bundchen: A musical battle of the supermodels

Supermodel Kate Moss’s newly released club track features “vocals” sampled from interview clips used in a Stuart Weitzman fashion campaign.

Two weeks after the Brazilian bombshell Gisele Bundchen released a cover of the Kinks' All Day and All of the Night, fellow supermodel Kate Moss responds with Day and All Night, a lightly percolating club track with the size-zero Londoner's "vocals" sampled from interview clips used in a Stuart Weitzman fashion campaign.

"I think thigh-high boots are especially sexy and glamorous, especially if you do wear them with a short skirt," Moss says, over a nicely gliding rhythm and clapped beat, supplied by Canadian DJ Brendan Fallis. "It's a good look."

It's a good hook, too. The song is sleek and atmospheric, with a strummed acoustic guitar and a funkier electric-disco riff, with a yacht-rocking saxophone solo to carry the thing home.

Unlike the Bundchen cut, there is no attempt to sing, which results in a much more listenable track. Moss's thigh-high boots were made for walking, and that's what they're going to do – apparently, Gisele, all over you.
