Last year, Hal Niedzviecki allowed filmmakers Sally Blake and Jeannette Loakman to install cameras in his house for a three-month period and broadcast his life online around the clock. He also started a blog, jumped onto Facebook and Twitter and made efforts to get on a reality-TV show.
This was a followup to Niedzviecki's book, The Peep Diaries, about the effects of ubiquitous social media in our lives. The resulting documentary will be aired on CBC on Wednesday, Feb. 16, at 10 p.m. on CBC News Network.
