REALITY My Crazy Obsession TLC, 7 p.m. ET; 11 p.m PT People get attached to the craziest things, don't they? Merging elements of TLC's My Secret Addiction and My Collection Obsession, this new show focuses on individuals who have seemingly given their entire lives over to bizarre infatuations with random objects, people or lifestyles. Tonight's episode introduces viewers to a twentysomething woman named Doris, who is wholly obsessed with the 1950s. She even wears fifties-era support garments and drives a 60-year-old car. Stranger yet is the British couple Bob and Lizzie, who share their home with more than 250 “sex dolls.” Although Bob claims he's never used one of the plastic ladies for its intended purpose, he does seem awfully attached to a few of them.

DRAMA Alcatraz Fox, CITY-TV, 8 p.m. ET/PT Don't get your hopes up for a second season for this series from Lost creator J.J. Abrams. Despite a strong January launch, the show has tailed off dramatically in U.S. ratings, which does not bode well for a sophomore campaign. The premise revolves around San Francisco cop Rebecca Madsen (Sarah Jones), who tries to unravel the mystery of supposedly long-dead inmates from the infamous Alcatraz Island prison suddenly reappearing in modern day. In tonight's season finale, Rebecca and her helper Doc (Jorge Garcia) finally close in on a man who may hold the secret behind all the returning criminals – but is it a red herring thrown at them by the scheming government operative Hauser (Sam Neill)? We may never find out.

DRAMA Tom Stone Vision, 9 p.m. ET; 6 p.m. PT Why can't our public broadcaster make programs like this any more? First broadcast on the CBC in 2002 and 2003, the offbeat crime drama was set in Calgary and starred the affable Chris William Martin as the brash Tom Stone, whose checkered past included stints as a cop, an oil rigger and, most tellingly, a prison inmate (though he was innocent). Somehow the journeyman was conscripted by the RCMP to work on tough criminal cases, whenever he could fit it into his busy schedule. Tonight, for example, his RCMP handler Marina (Janet Kidder) needs his help to get the goods on a real-estate con man, but Tom is too busy chasing the varmints that stole his uncle's cattle. And no, the story does not take place in the Old West.

REALITY Bering Sea Gold Discovery, 10 p.m. ET; 7 p.m. PT Get ready for your next reality-TV obsession. Hailing from the people behind Deadliest Catch, this new eight-part series is filmed in and around the frigid climes of Nome, Alaska, which is witnessing an influx of treasure-seekers unseen since the days of the Klondike Gold Rush. The latest search for gold isn't taking place in rivers or above ground. Instead, the gold is being dredged from the bottom of the icy Bering Sea. The show documents the fortunes and failures of four dredging sea craft, including the large 24-metre-long barge The Christine Rose and the tiny skiff called The Sluicey, which holds only two people. Tonight's opener takes place in the peak of summer season and introduces the salty sea dogs desperate to strike gold at any cost.

MOVIE Stigmata Vision, midnight ET; 9 p.m. PT Although most people know Patricia Arquette as the soccer-mom psychic on the TV series Medium (2005-2011), she formerly enjoyed a prosperous film career. In this well-made 1999 thriller, she plays Frankie, a humble hairstylist with no religious convictions until her mother gives her a rosary. Overnight, Frankie develops stigmata on her wrists and feet and begins babbling in ancient foreign languages. Not surprisingly, the Vatican decides to get involved and dispatches Father Andrew (Gabriel Byrne) to investigate.
