COMEDY Man Up! ABC, CTV Two, 8:30 p.m. Although this rookie sitcom is taking a steady nosedive in ratings, it just gets a little bit funnier with each new episode. Tonight, the central man-child Will (Mather Zickel) has a competition with his wife Theresa (Teri Polo) to see who can stay maintain a gluten-free diet the longest. Elsewhere, Will’s single friends Craig (Christopher Moynihan) and Kenny (Dan Fogler) keep scarfing down the junk food in order to impress two women working at the local burger joint. COMEDY New Girl Fox, Citytv, 9 p.m. Conversely, this show keeps climbing up in the ratings, and it’s not really that funny. No doubt the first-year comedy has a high percentage of male viewers smitten with Zooey Deschanel as the wacky, approachable and gorgeous Jess, who breaks up with her two-timing boyfriend and moves in with three dysfunctional single guys. Tonight, Jess is mildly miffed when her roomie Winston (Lamorne Morris) joins her musical quartet and is an immediate fit, but then she forgives him and everyone is happy again. Hey, if the nerds on Big Bang Theory can have girlfriends, this could happen, right?

FASHION The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show CBS, Global, 10 p.m. Get ready for cheap thrills in a faux fashion-show setting. As in years past, the annual skin parade is designed to draw in male viewers, presumably those looking for that ideal last-minute gift for the wife or girlfriend. This year’s show includes performances from vocalists Nicki Minaj and Kanye West and pop group Maroon 5. The program’s climax, so to speak, will be the unveiling of the $2.5-million “Fantasy Treasure Bra,” worn by supermodel Miranda Kerr.

MOVIE Amanda Knox: Murder on Trial in Italy Slice, 8 p.m. What really happened in the murder case that put Amanda Knox in an Italian prison for four years? Few substantive answers surface in this 2010 TV movie that originally broadcast on the U.S. Lifetime channel, but it sure is entertaining. Former Heroes regular Hayden Panettiere plays Knox, who was accused of the murder of British student Meredith Kercher, along with Rudy Guede (Djibril Kebe) and Amanda Sollecito (Paolo Romio), in Perugia, Italy. Mostly, the film is a reenactment of Knox’s allegedly grueling interrogation by Italian police, with fleeting flashbacks to the actual crime scene. Watch it for the performance by Oscar-winner Marcia Gay Harden as Amanda’s supportive mother.
