Charlie Sheen is on a 20-city North American tour, modestly titled "Violent Torpedo of Truth / Defeat is Not an Option." The actor, recently fired from the hit show Two and a Half Men, has openly criticized the show's producers and CBS network brass. He has also made headlines in connection with stories of substance abuse and a hard-partying lifestyle.
Columnist Lynn Crosbie, who has written extensively about the troubled star, is set to review the performance at Massey Hall beginning at 8 p.m. Follow her tweets here.
Early Thursday, Sheen announced via Twitter that Brampton, Ont. comedian Russell Peters would co-host the show for both nights, adding a measure of star power, and perhaps raising the entertainment quotient somewhat. Sheen gave away two tickets to the first person to correctly guess the identity of the co-host.
