I'm a Washington, D.C.-based political reporter, with forays into business and general news
I've reported on U.S. politics and the age of Trump since January 2017. Roughly half my work is focused on U.S.-Canada bilateral issues -- particularly NAFTA and tariffs -- and the other half on the rest of this extraordinary moment in the history of the most powerful country in the world. Previously, I spent four years covering Ontario provincial politics in The Globe's Queen's Park bureau. Before that, I was a general assignment reporter on the Toronto desk, with stints in the business and sports sections
