I’m an editorial writer for The Globe and Mail. That means I’m part of the team that puts together the Globe’s opinion about the issues of the day, found under the masthead in your morning paper. I used to be a general assignment reporter covering everything from crime to technology. Last year my feature about the novelist Joseph Boyden and his fraught claim to Indigenous heritage won a National Newspaper Award. I’m based in Toronto, where I was born and raised.
