Gillian Livingston was Deputy Editor for Globe Investor. She started her journalism career at the student newspaper The Gazette at Western University. She's worked for The Financial Post, Dow Jones Newswires and The Canadian Press as a reporter for news, business, markets and Ontario politics. She joined The Globe and Mail as a copy editor with the Report on Business in November, 2007, and was Careers Editor from 2013 to 2015, where she worked with Bill Howatt to launch the Your Life at Work Survey, which has become the Employee Recommended Workplace Award, a joint award by The Globe and Morneau Shepell.

Why did you become a journalist?

I love to write and ask lots of questions. I love learning something new.
