Katie is principal of Double Black Diamond Coaching in Vancouver, and an Associate Coach with the Ken Blanchard Companies, a global leader in leadership training. Katie is an executive coach and speaker and has been working with senior leaders and their teams across Canada and the U.S. since 1999. She also works with clients in career transition and small business owners looking to build their business.
Katie is a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation, has completed certification with The Coaches Training Institute and has an honours degree in Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario. She has been writing articles for The Globe and Mail newspaper for the past several years in the Mentor Minute article series.
Prior to coaching, Katie spent 11 years as an advertising executive in both Toronto and Vancouver. She has been married since 1997, and is proud mother of two boys. When she is not with her boys or coaching her clients, you will find her on the ski slopes at Whistler or biking or running on the trails of Vancouver's North Shore.
