Cochrane, June 15 (Staff)---A drill hole just 10 feet from a farmhouse in the Frederickhouse area, 6 1/2 miles west of here, may mark the discovery of natural gas in Northern Ontario.

ONTARIO NORTHLAND RAILWAY Chuffing around a bend out of the mining town of Schumachar, freight of the Ontario Northland Railway helps swell profits of line through the north to James Bay. It is expected that by 1953 all trains will be hauled by diesel engines.
