We're currently rewiring a few things under the hood here at globeandmail.com to make it easier for you to share stories and more with your friends, colleagues and the world at large.

If you take a look just above the text here, you can see the sharing toolbar for this story, including a Facebook share link, a Twitter button and a licensing option if you want to buy a story from The Globe for your own use.

But there is also something new there starting today: You can now quickly share stories with your LinkedIn network -- just click the LinkedIn icon and you can immediately tip your network to breaking news, analysis and more.

We've also added the ability to share using Digg, StumbleUpon, Del.icio.us and more social platforms using the social share button on the left side of toolbar.

Or if you want to e-mail a story to a friend, we've moved that service into that same button since our tracking showed fewer users were using the e-mail button.

Look for more ways to connect with The Globe using your favourite social media networks in the months to come. And please let us know what you think about the changes along the way - we welcome your ideas on how The Globe can make it easier for you to help connect your networks with great stories and the latest news.
