What is it?
The Bentley Grand Convertible is the largest, plushest, most leather-covered convertible in Bentley's lineup. Don't be fooled by its "concept" title here; the Grand Convertible will very likely see limited production.
Signature feature:
More yacht that convertible, the rear deck of the car — the tonneau — is covered with a giant piece of Burr Walnut wood. The whole piece is made by hand, even book-matched so the grain is consistent.
Don't tell Bentley, but it reminds us of the wooden deck on its key rival, the Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe.
What else is new:
The hood and windscreen frame get a liquid metal finish, which will likely carry over to production. Meanwhile, the diamond-quilted leather interior trim will be familiar to Mulsanne owners. It takes 14 leather hides to cover the cabin, which has seating for four.

Underneath the metal and leather, the Grand Convertible shares a platform with Bentley's flagship sedan, the Mulsanne.
The engine is identical to that in the top-spec Mulsanne Speed: a "six-and-three-quarter-litre V-8" boosted with two turbochargers to put out 530 horsepower and 811 lb-ft of torque.
You'd better wear a hat.
When can we buy it, and for how much:
Because it's technically a concept Bentley has only said it would be an, "extremely limited collector's piece" if indeed it does go into production.
