The 2015 Mustang will be available with three engines: 5.0-litre V8, 3.7-litre V6, and a 2.3-litre EcoBoost engine with 305 horsepower and 300 lb.-ft. of torque. The 5.0-litre V8 has 420 horsepower and 396 lb.-ft. of torque, while the V6 has 300 horsepower and 270 lb.-ft. of torque.

In 50 years of production, Ford has sold over 9 million Mustangs. The newest design for 2015 has a lower, wider stance, a sleeker profile with a more steeply sloped windshield and rear glass, and three-dimensional tri-bar taillamps with sequential turn signals, the company said in a press release.

The updated manual gearbox has smoother shifts, and the automatic offers steering-wheel-mounted shift paddles. New technology includes push-button start, MyKey, and Shaker Pro audio system. Blind spot information system helps drivers on the road, and the new GT ‘s standard launch control ensures consistent starts.

The cabin is now roomier, with more hip and shoulder room, large, clear instruments with tactile switches and knobs and improved ergonomics. The trunk will accomodate two golf bags.
