Bombardier Aerospace says Warsaw-based Eurolot has picked up options on six Q400 NextGen airliners to increase its fleet to 14 of the aircraft.

Based on current prices, this deal is worth approximately $190-million.

Eurolot placed an order in March for eight of the Q400 airliners with options to buy more. The first aircraft was delivered in mid-May.

Including this transaction, Bombardier has booked firm orders for 460 Q400 and Q400 NextGen turboprops, and delivered aircraft are in service with more than 40 operators in 33 countries.

Montreal-based Bombardier says these aircraft have carried more than 227 million passengers and have logged more than 3.5 million flight hours and over 3.8 million take-offs and landings.

The Q400 NextGen turboprop is built at Bombardier's Toronto facility.
