Som Seif, president of Claymore Investments

Deborah Baic

Have you got a question on how ETFs work? Many investors favour them because they're cheap, tax-efficient and intended to be ideal for passive investors -- but many still have questions about them. And really, are there more ETFs out there than you need sometimes, while the one sector or theme you're interested in has yet to be covered?

Som Seif, president and CEO of Claymore Investments Inc. was online to take your questions. You can reread our discussion by clicking on the live blog box below.

Mr. Seif founded Claymore Investments Inc., the Canadian affiliate of U.S.-based Claymore Securities Inc., in January 2005. As president and CEO, he leads the implementation of the company's business development and corporate strategies. Previously, Som was an investment banker with RBC Capital Markets, where he worked for six years and played a key role in developing the structured products group.
