In the coming days, we’re going to highlight more of the advantages of our new Watchlist tool. We’ve created this new tool with dividend investors in mind.
When you create a list of stocks, you can change the view for them by using the dropdown menu at the top right of the list of stocks and ETFs. The views are:
- Overview
- Ratios
- Dividends
- Earnings
- All News
- Build Your Own
The Dividends view shows information about dividend per share, yield, dividend payout ratio, dividend growth for one and five years and total return for one and five years.
Each column is also sortable. Want to find out what stock is providing the highest yield or has the highest dividend growth the last five years? Click on the yield column head and the column will sort from highest to lowest. Click on it again and it will sort from lowest to highest.
Please provide us with feedback and suggestions about the new Watchlist. Leave a comment here or e-mail globeinvestor@globeandmail.com to reach us. You can also visit the Globe Investor Help section for more information about Watchlist and the site.
