Mr. Rosenberg is chief economist with Gluskin Sheff + Associates Inc. and formerly the chief North American economist at the Bank of America-Merrill Lynch.

Well known for his bearish stance in recent years, he's one of a handful of economists to correctly predict the anemic pace of the economic recovery in North America.
