Q&A: How to build an effective, low-cost income portfolio

We know Canadians love income-producing investments, whether it be dividend-producing stocks, real estate investment trusts, or exchange traded funds. But how do you construct a low-cost portfolio that's effective and sensitive to one's risk profile?

Nancy Woods will join us for our weekly investing chat this Tuesday at 1 p.m. (ET) to answer your dividend portfolio questions. We won't be discussing specific stocks, but we will aim to shed some light on constructing a winning income-producing portfolio using exchange traded funds and other securities.

Nancy is an associated portfolio manager and investment adviser with RBC Dominion Securities who holds the CIM and FCSI designations. She has been providing financial advice to Canadians for over 20 years.
