For this week's live discussion at Inside the Market, we were joined by Marian Hoffmann, portfolio manager with Sionna Investment Managers.

Marian is the lead portfolio manager for the firm's income-focused strategies and has been with the company for 10 years. She has an Economics degree from Yale University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Covering sectors that include energy, consumer discretionary, utilities and financials, she approaches investing by using Sionna's "relative value investment" strategy. It focuses on executing the teachings of Benjamin Graham, regarded by many to be the father of value investing.

Marian discussed her investment approach, which helps to find stocks trading at attractive values among cyclical stocks, and shared her latest picks.
