For this week's live discussion at Inside the Market, we're joined by Brad Radin, lead portfolio manager for the IA Clarington Global Opportunities Fund.

The recent underperformance of Canadian equities has been a reminder that investors can often make better returns by diversifying globally. We're going to find out what countries, sectors and stocks may be good bets right now.

Mr. Radin has been in the investing business for nearly 20 years and had previously worked for Franklin-Templeton, managing the award-winning Templeton Global Smaller Companies Fund between 1999 and 2011.

The IA Clarington Global Opportunities Fund returned 22.2 per cent in the six months up to March 31 of this year, double the group average. Its 12-month return up to March 31 was 6.4 per cent, below the group average of 9.6 per cent.
