Research In Motion's BlackBerry Storm2 smartphone

Insider selling at Research In Motion Ltd. has picked up. Over the past three months, RIM officers and directors who are insiders sold, as a group, 541,341 shares in the public market, net of any shares acquired through the exercise of options or public-market purchases. Co-CEO James Balsillie was a net seller of 438,490 shares while co-CEO and board member Michael Lazaridis was a net seller of 126,152 shares during the period.

Even after the sales, each RIM co-CEO owns just more than 5.5 per cent of the company's outstanding shares based on SEDI filings.
