The straight goods on investing
The Canadian Foundation for Advancement of Investor Rights, or FAIR, is an independent, non-profit agency that advocates for better treatment of investors. FAIR has just created an investor resources page on its website and it's well worth a visit if you're interested in learning more about topics like fees, fraud, leverage (borrowing to invest...bad idea) and financial literacy.

Now for the risk of speaking out against a company you feel has wronged you. A man is being sued for $150,000 by his insurance company after he started a blog to draw attention to the insurer's tactics in dealing with a fire at his home.
