3.) Taxes: Here's a review of the new book Tax-efficient Investing for Canadians, a resource for investors addressing the many tax issues that arise when investing outside registered accounts.

4.) Exchange-traded funds: The My Own Adviser blog offers a list of the top Canadian equity exchange-traded funds for your portfolio.
