Dean Owen, chair of Advocis, the Financial Advisors Association of Canada.

It's not always as simple as saving loads of cash in an RRSP. You may have tax questions, difficult choices between paying down debt and saving, or questions about what exactly to put in an RESP.

Here to answer your questions is Dean Owen, CLU, CH.F.C., graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 1990 with a Bachelor of Commerce and immediately entered the financial planning profession. He joined Cherry Financial Services in 1998, and practises in the area of insurance, retirement and estate planning. He held the position of Chair of the Saskatchewan Life Insurance Council and was a member of the council from 2002 to 2010. Dean is currently the chair of Advocis, the Financial Advisors Association of Canada, the country's largest and oldest voluntary association for financial advisors.
