Description
Dream Office Real Estate Investment Trust is a real estate investment trust that acquires, manages, and leases primarily central business district and suburban office properties in urban areas throughout Canada. The majority of the company's real estate portfolio, in terms of revenue generation, is located in the Canadian province of Ontario. The province of Alberta also brings in a sizable percentage of revenue. The company generates nearly all of its revenue in the form of rental income from mid- to long-term lease agreements with tenants. The company's office buildings located in central business districts are responsible for the vast majority of its revenue generation. Most of Dream Office's customers are in the finance, insurance, science, and government industries.

Dream Unlimited Corp. (TSX: DRM and DRM.PR.A) ("Dream") announced today that its interest in Dream Office Real Estate Investment Trust (TSX: D.UN) ("Dream Office REIT") is deemed to have increased as a result of the deemed acquisition by Michael Cooper of 788 REIT Units, Series A ("Units") of Dream Office REIT, representing less than 0.01% of the issued and outstanding Units, pursuant to the vesting of the same number of deferred trust units under Dream Office REIT's Deferred Unit Incentive Plan. Prior to this deemed acquisition, Dream and its joint actors, which include Mr. Cooper, owned 16,286,229 Units representing approximately 26.4% of the issued and outstanding Units. Following Mr. Cooper's deemed acquisition, Dream and its joint actors own 16,287,017 Units representing approximately 26.4% of the issued and outstanding Units.
