NAKED AMBITION

Oops. It seems actress Jena Malone flashed a hotel employee while filming The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. While on the morning talk show Live! With Kelly & Michael, Malone said she accidentally exposed herself to an employee while shooting nude scenes for the big-budget sequel at an Atlanta hotel. "There's some guy that works at the hotel carrying a coffee cup holder and his mouth is just agape," Malone said. "And I'm staring at him trying to be in character."

PIE APLENTY

Thanksgiving with the Obamas at the White House means plenty of pie. The first family's festive repast last Thursday featured turkey, honey-baked ham, mac and cheese and green bean casserole, but the most effort went into the dessert menu, which featured nine varieties of pie. The lineup included huckleberry, pecan, chocolate cream, sweet potato, peach, apple, pumpkin, banana cream and coconut cream.

VIRAL VIOLENCE

A young woman named Sharkeisha Thompson has become famous but for all the wrong reasons. The 22-year-old from Mecklenburg, N.C., is the star of a brutal viral video in which she viciously beats up another woman. In the video, Thompson is shown sucker-punching an alleged romantic rival named Shay and kicking her in the face. Her friends filmed the attack with a smartphone and posted the clip to Instagram. The assault has already spawned several parody videos and memes, most of them spinning off the recent cable movie Sharknado.

MOCKING MILEY

Give Steve Kardynal credit for pushing the edge of the envelope. The American comedian and YouTube personality has people talking with his spoof version of the Miley Cyrus music video Wrecking Ball, which was posted to the chat site Chatroulette. In the Kardynal version, the bearded comic sports white briefs and a tight tanktop and – just like Miley – no clothes whatsoever in one scene. Kardynal's Wrecking Ball parody has already been viewed more than 15 million times, which beats his previous record for his spoof of Carly Rae Jepsen's Call Me Maybe.

NERD ALERT

If you're planning to eat dinner at the Lost Lake Café and Lounge, leave the Google Glass at home. The Seattle eatery recently kicked out customer Nick Starr for wearing the device on their premises. When Starr complained and asked for clarification, the restaurant responded with a statement on Facebook: "We kindly ask our customers to refrain from wearing and operating Google Glasses inside Lost Lake. We also ask that you not videotape anyone using any other sort of technology."

UNKIND CUT

Actress Evan Rachel Wood is unhappy with U.S. movie censors for snipping out a racy scene in her new movie. The star of the Sundance hit Charlie Countryman has come out swinging against the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) for excising a scene in the film in which co-star Shia LaBeouf performs oral sex on her character. Said Wood on Twitter: "This is a symptom of a society that wants to shame women and put them down for enjoying sex, especially when (gasp) the man isn't getting off as well!"
