Amy Poehler and Will Arnett are separating after nine years of marriage, their publicist Lewis Kay confirmed Thursday.
The couple have two young sons, Archie, 3, and Abel, 2.
Poehler, 40, who made her name on Saturday Night Live, currently stars in Parks and Recreation on NBC. She is nominated for an Emmy for her role as Leslie Knope.
Arnett, who is from Toronto, stars in Up All Night on the same network. He is also filming the long-awaited follow-up episodes of Arrested Development.
Arnett, 42, was previously married to Penelope Ann Miller. It was Poehler's first marriage.
