Saturday Night Live revisited Toronto Mayor Rob Ford as a comedy topic in last night's new episode.

In the show's traditional Weekend Update segment, anchor Cecily Strong made light of Ford's now famous admission to media that he had smoked crack cocaine.

According to Strong, the mayor said in an interview earlier this week that he would have confessed to his drug use sooner, "If anybody had asked him the question, 'Have you smoked crack?' rather than the question, 'Do you smoke crack?'..."And much sooner if anyone had simply asked, 'Would you like some crack?'"

The Update fake news segment also went back to the Ford well to report on the recent incident in which the mayor bowled over Toronto city councillor Pam McConnell in his rush to confront a heckler in the gallery.

Said Strong: "During a Toronto city council meeting in which members stripped Rob Ford of most of his powers, the controversial mayor charged the gallery and ran over a female council member…before he was finally brought down by the third dart."

The segment then cut to a doctored photo of a florid, bug-eyed Ford, with three tranquilizer darts protruding from his neck.

On last weekend's SNL, Ford was portrayed in unflattering fashion by cast veteran Bobby Moynihan in the show's opening sketch and was mentioned in three Weekend Update jokes.
