Mila Kunis and Ellen DeGeneres on The Ellen DeGeneres Show

Mila Kunis has revealed her plans for a natural childbirth – and her unnatural food cravings – in a talk-show appearance.

In an interview airing on Friday's edition of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the actress and soon-to-be mom said that she and future father Ashton Kutcher already have a name picked out for their first child together, which she plans to deliver via natural birthing methods.

"The hospital that I'm going to be labouring in does a midwife, you know, doula type of thing," said Kunis, 30. "I'm going to do it as all natural as I possibly can unless there's an emergency or something that should go wrong."

Added Kunis: "I did this to myself. I might as well just do it right. I wanted this!"

Kunis and Kutcher first met as castmates on the Fox sitcom That '70s Show, which ran from 1998 to 2006. They began dating last year shortly after his divorce from actress Demi Moore was finalized.

In the same Ellen sitdown, Kunis declined to divulge her due date.

"Some time this year, I promise you," she told DeGeneres. "It will be this year."

To the delight of Ellen's studio audience, Kunis also said Kutcher has been more than helpful in accommodating her peculiar gastronomical requirements.

"He assumed that I was going to have goofy cravings," she said. "So he stocked our secondary fridge with weird food. Just, like, pickles and sauerkraut, or like anchovies and ice creams. Just in case at one point during the pregnancy I'd be like, 'I really want something!' "

And as fate would have it, the fridge recently served its purpose.

"I was like, 'Oh my God, I need a pickle'," said Kunis. "It was just the weirdest thing. I needed this pickle and he was like, 'Hold on a second' and disappeared in the backyard and came back with the most amazing pickle of all time."

Happy Mother's Day, Mila.
