Adam Levine may have the moves like Jagger, but now he also has the hair like Marilyn. The Maroon 5 frontman and resident mentor/judge on The Voice has shocked fans by dying his hair from brunette to platinum blonde. The 35-year-old Levine revealed his new look to the world this week via Twitter, which naturally prompted a tidal wave of response. Observed one Twitter user: "Adam Levine dyed his hair blonde…this is it, the apocalypse." Said another: "2007 Adam Levine would have made fun of 2014 Adam Levine so bad." Levine himself addressed the matter with the tweet: "I hope people understand that when they say my hair looks creepy I take that as the highest compliment."

Who knew Beyoncé had a sense of humour? The pop star has issued what appears to be a positive response to a sketch poking fun of her that aired on last weekend's Saturday Night Live. The pretaped segment titled "The Beygency" focused on a group of grim people whose job is to rid the world of folks who dare to admit they aren't fans of the Grammy-winning singer. On Tuesday, Beyoncé went onto Instagram to post the word "Haaaaaaaaa" beside a large graphic reading The Beygency in pink over a black background. The skit also received a thumbs-up from Glee star Amber Riley, who tweeted, "That Beyonce SNL skit hahahahaa."

Stop the presses! Kim Kardashian suffered a wardrobe malfunction en route to the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Gala in New York on Monday night. The reality star was leaving the Lanvin store in Manhattan when the thigh-high slit in her Lanvin gown opened up to reveal her black undies beneath. Kardashian's ensemble also included a wide black belt and diamond-drop earrings from jewelry designer Lorraine Schwartz, who also designed her engagement ring.

BOURNE AGAIN
Matt Damon is open to returning to the role of Jason Bourne – but only under certain conditions. The 43-year-old actor played the super spy in three entries in the film franchise, but passed on last year's The Bourne Legacy, which starred Jeremy Renner. Damon told CNBC on Sunday that he'd happily jump back into the role but only if the movie was directed by Paul Greengrass, who helmed The Bourne Supremacy (2004) and The Bourne Ultimatum (2007). "I've always been open to it if Paul Greengrass is the director," said Damon. "We've just never been able to come up with a story." Damon added that he was keen to catch up with his action-movie persona: "I love that character and I'd love to see what happened to him."

Based on the advance trailer, the new TV series Gotham will be a comic-book fan's dreams realized. Fox released the first trailer for the new show that casts former The O.C. star Ben McKenzie as a young version of police commissioner James Gordon. The two-minute trailer shows Gordon comforting an equally youthful Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) following the death of his parents and also works in clips of perennial Batman villains Catwoman (Camren Bicondova), The Riddler (Cory Michael Smith), The Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor) and Poison Ivy (Clare Foley). Added to the mix is a new Batman nemesis called Fish Mooney, played by Jada Pinkett Smith. Gotham is scheduled to join the Fox Network's primetime lime up this fall.

Adele will stick to her numbers theme for her third studio album. The British singer, who turned 26 on Monday, teased the upcoming album's release on Twitter with a picture of herself and the cryptic message, "Bye bye 25..See you again later in the year." Adele titled her first two albums 19 and 21, both indicative of her age when she wrote the songs. Tentatively slated for release later this year, 25 will be Adele's first album since 2011, when 21 earned her six Grammy Awards and became the first album to go double platinum on iTunes in the U.S.
