Wait, Justin Bieber still makes music? The Canadian pop star has released his first track since his high-profile arrest in Miami Beach last month on charges of driving under the influence. Bieber recently tweeted a link to a mix tape site that featured the new hip-hop song titled Broken. Running three minutes in length and featuring the vocal participation of rapper Blake Kelly, the song has Bieber crooning defiant lyrics such as, "I guess they want a reaction/I ain't gonna give it to 'em/I cannot be broken/Like I know you were hoping."

THE ENVELOPE, PLEASE

A cavalcade of A-list stars – including one famous Canadian – will hand out the trophies on Oscar night. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has released the official list of 46 presenters, which includes several past Oscar-winners and nominees. The group includes such acting luminaries as Robert De Niro, Jennifer Lawrence, Whoopi Goldberg and Sally Field (all former Oscar recipients) and relative Hollywood newcomers such as Chris Hemsworth, Emma Watson and Anna Kendrick. The sole designated Canadian: comic actor Jim Carrey, the pride of Newmarket, Ont.

Seth Rogen plans to resurrect the old battle between Super Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog. Rogen and writing partner Evan Goldberg have announced plans to write and direct a movie based on the early nineties competition between video-game giants Nintendo and Sega. The pair will co-write the script based on the book Console Wars: Sega, Nintendo and the Battle That Defined a Generation by Blake J. Harris. Rogen and Goldberg previously co-wrote and co-directed the apocalyptic comedy This is The End.

Jimmy Kimmel is going to be a father for the third time. The late-night talk host has revealed that he and wife Molly McNearney are expecting their first child together. The couple married last July. While making the announcement on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Kimmel, 46, pointed out that he already has a daughter and son, both in their 20s, from a previous relationship. "I have two kids already," Kimmel said. "I told my daughter there's only so much love I have to give and you're going to have to split it up with the new kid."

Get ready for Miranda Kerr, pop star. The Victoria's Secret model has recorded a duet with singer Bobby Fox, best known for his stage role in Jersey Boys. The pair collaborated on a version of the song You're The Boss, which was originally performed by Elvis Presley and Ann-Margret in the 1964 film Viva Las Vegas. On Sunday, Kerr tweeted "I usually just sing in the shower but @thedancingfox convinced me to record a duet with him."

RUST NEVER SLEEPS

Neil Young has another book in the works. The Canadian singer-songwriter is currently penning a second biographical tome following the 2012 memoir Waging Heavy Peace: A Hippie Dream. The new, still-untitled book will reportedly feature original artwork by Young, along with his rambling thoughts on the music business, cars, politics and the environment. Young will also reportedly release a new album next month titled A Letter Home.
