Miley Cyrus and Bubba Sue

PRECIOUS PIGGIE

Miley Cyrus has welcomed a new member into her family: A piglet named Bubba Sue.

As reported by Us Weekly, the Wrecking Ball singer went onto her Instagram account over the weekend to share several pictures of the new addition.

On Sunday, the 21-year-old Cyrus introduced her new pet to fans by posting a picture of her snuggling with the piglet along with the comment, "Newest member to the fam @bubbasue."

In a separate Instagram photo, Cyrus wears a vintage Bob Marley T-shirt as she puckers up to plant a smooch on the tiny pig.

And in another adorable shot, Cyrus is shown snuggling up with Bubba Sue on a seat in her private jet, accompanied with the caption, "Piggy on a pj."

Cyrus also posted a group photo of her cuddling Bubba Sue and her other recent addition, a collie named Emu, on the jet with the caption, "Happiest mommy ever."

As you may recall, Cyrus was devastated last May when her beloved pooch Floyd passed away while she was in Boston on her current Bangerz concert tour.

Part of her grieving process included posting a lengthy Twitter memorial to Floyd in which she stated, "I want everyone's heart to break the way my heart is breaking."

A few weeks later, Cyrus was seemingly recovered and smitten with a brand-new pup named Emu – whose arrival she shared with the world by taking a selfie with the pooch in the shower.

Of course, those keeping track of the pop star's animal menagerie will already know that Bubba Sue isn't the first pig to enter Cyrus's life.

Back in late 2012, the animal-right group PETA presented Cyrus with a pig for her 20th birthday.

Executive vice-president Tracy Reiman said at the time: "PETA knew that sponsoring a rescued pig was the perfect birthday present for a young woman who spends so much time encouraging others to help animals."

But at last check, that pig – named Nora – was residing at an animal sanctuary in Ocala, Fla.

Only Bubba Sue gets to ride in Miley's private jet, y'all.

LOVE SONGS

It appears Billy Joel still holds a warm place in his heart for ex-wife Christie Brinkley. During a recent concert at Madison Square Garden in New York, the 65-year-old singer directed a camera crew filming the performance toward Brinkley to film her dancing to his 1983 hit Uptown Girl (Brinkley starred in the original music video for the song). After the show, Brinkley posted several shots from the concert to her Instagram page, including one captioned, "He's still got it."

BROTHERS IN ARMS

Former action-movie fixture Steven Seagal is catching heat for playing a concert in support of pro-Russian separatists in Ukraine. Seagal and his blues band performed at a concert on Saturday in the city of Sevastopol, home to Russia's Black Sea fleet. The Russian military annexed the Ukrainian region last March. According to sources, during the concert Seagal was handed a T-shirt emblazoned with the face of Russian president Vladimir Putin, which he held aloft as the crowd cheered.

Add published author to Kim Kardashian's seemingly endless list of career accomplishments. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star has written a coffee-table book titled Selfish, which will retail for $19.95 (U.S.) when released in April, 2015. The 352-page tome will be filled with pictures taken from various social-media sites and several heretofore-unseen photos. SNEAK PEEK

At long last, there's a trailer for the coming Breaking Bad spinoff Better Call Saul. AMC aired the trailer several times during last weekend's viewing marathon of Breaking Bad. Running barely 10 seconds, the trailer shows a younger version of oleaginous solicitor Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) saying to a client, "Lawyers, we're like health insurance. You hope you never need it, but man oh man, not having it? No? Phew." Better Call Saul is scheduled to make its debut on AMC in February, 2015.
