We're starting to get the idea that Seth Rogen really, really doesn't care for his fellow Canadian Justin Bieber.
The normally affable comic actor, who hasn't been shy about criticizing Bieber on previous occasions, went back to the well this week while promoting his new movie, Neighbors, on the Howard Stern radio show.
"I've met him a few times," Rogen told Stern of the 20-year-old pop star. "He's a good example of someone who you meet who you think you are going to hate and then you get to hate him as much as you [thought]… You meet him and he lives up to every one of your expectations of how you'll hope he'll be."
When pushed for details, Rogen recalled the first time he met Bieber, backstage at a German talk show.
Even though Bieber requested the meeting, he acted aloof after he and Rogen were introduced.
"I don't want to meet you!" recalled Rogen. "Don't act all nonplussed to meet me. I didn't want to meet you. I was totally cool with not meeting you."
As chance would have it, Rogen crossed paths with Bieber again, this time at a more public event.
"I saw him again at like an MTV awards show, he literally had a snake wrapped around his [expletive] wrist," said Rogen. "Like a live snake as an accouterment."
Of course, this isn't the first time that Rogen, 32, has taken a shot at The Biebs.
When Bieber was arrested for DUI in Miami in late January, Rogen immediately registered his reaction by tweeting, "All jokes aside, Justin Bieber is a piece of s--t."
Which was pretty much the same opinion expressed by Rogen during his appearance on the U.S. cable program Watch What Happens Live several weeks ago.
Said Rogen: "He seems like he's obnoxious and ungrateful, insincere and he puts people's lives in danger and overall he acts like a piece of …. "
Okay, Seth, we get your point.
