The promise

This daily treatment's 12 promised "miracles" include: preventing breakage, moisturizing hair, reducing frizz, softening, boosting shine, detangling, protecting against heat damage, repairing split ends, strengthening, improving elasticity and stimulating the scalp. If you only counted 11 properties, you're correct. The twelfth is that it's colour-safe.

How it works

Apple stem cells and biotin invigorate damaged, dull and slow-growing hair. Healthy hair follicles are promoted by a powerful fruit complex that includes grape-seed oil, acai berry, goji berry, noni berry, pomegranate, coffee fruit and mangosteen.

How to use it

Spray evenly on wet or dry hair from roots to tips. Comb through and style.

The bottom line

I pray for miracles all the time. I've prayed for sunny days when the forecast called for rain, for my sick dog to not be sick in my freshly cleaned car, for my soufflés to come out fluffy and my martinis to come out dry. But I stopped praying for a miracle cure for frizzy hair a long time ago. I figured I had a greater chance of besting my dog's upset stomach than I did taming dry, frizzy curls. And yet, despite silencing my prayers, the hair-care gods have come to my rescue. I'm totally gobsmacked by this product.

When I apply it to wet hair, along with a de-frizzing cream and/or mousse, it makes my curls soft, bouncy and utterly manageable. But even better than that, I can spray it on second, third, even fourth-day hair and it zaps frizz and brings my curls back to life. I can honestly say no other product has been this effective at battling frizz on dry hair. Miracles do happen, my friends.
