The question

I am a working mom, with a son who isn't sleeping well. Do under-eye rollers actually work? What would you suggest for lightening the dark circles under my eyes?

The answer

While a few of the under-eye rollers on the market right now can indeed lighten dark circles and are great at reducing puffiness thanks to the small amounts of caffeine in them, under-eye circles are tough to get rid of entirely as the skin below the eye is just so thin, making dark circles seem more apparent. Try, though, a combo of both an eye roller and a concealer to get the best results. Aveeno's Smart Essentials Anti-Fatigue Eye Treatment has vitamins A, C and E, which are good for hydrating delicate under-eye skin and reducing puffiness. A concealer should follow. Whenever you have some time, pop over to a beauty counter and ask for professional help in choosing the best shade and formula for you.
