The Question

I travel a lot for my job and hate to check my luggage, but I have a hard time packing my makeup bag so it's carry-on-friendly. Do you have any tips on how to travel light and still look great?

The Answer

Keeping it simple and using multi-purpose products will save you here. For colour, try Benefit's Posie Tint lip & cheek stain. The soft pink shade will give you an instant healthy flush.

Use a clear mascara for both your lashes and to hold your brows in place. Using a colourless formula means there's no need to check for smudges or flakes.

For care, a serum that is packed with vitamin E is best. Body Blitz Argan Oil Face Serum will help protect your skin during a long flight. Pat it onto the skin rather than rub it around and, with what's left on your hands, run it through the ends of your hair and up top to help slick down any flyaways.

Last, refresh your skin at the end of your flight by spritzing a toner like LUSH cosmetics Breath Of Fresh Air on. These are all, by the way, under 100 millilitres in size, so they'll make it through airport security.
