How safe is eyelash tinting? I love to wear mascara, but it gets on the inside of my glasses and tinting would be a great solution.

There are alternatives to tinting your lashes, such as using an eyelash curler before applying your mascara, but I'm going to assume you've already exhausted all your options because tinting the eyelashes is serious business. Any chemicals used close to the eyes runs the risk of irritation so if you are looking to have this procedure done it must be done by a professional. Visit a salon or spa that offers the service and ask about their process and what measures they take to ensure your safety. Miriam Gee of Gee Beauty in Toronto says that lash tinting is very safe when done in a clean environment, so seek out highly trained therapists who are attentive to the procedure and your comfort to ensure a beautiful outcome.
