Rodial Glamoxy Snake Serum

The promise

A revolutionary product inspired by viper venom (no, seriously), Glamoxy Snake Serum delivers results within two minutes of application by lifting the face, freezing muscles, and plumping fine lines and wrinkles. It will temporarily immobilize facial contractions to give skin a younger and more relaxed look.

How it works

Advanced neuropeptides designed to mimic the effects of the Temple Viper venom (which totally sounds like something out of an Indiana Jones movie) provide a mild freezing effect thus smoothing out the skin. The Syn-ake peptide inhibits muscle contractions and reduces their frequency, while Fiflow BTX (an oxygen carrier) plumps skin by encouraging cell respiration and adds radiance. Proturon provides an instant 3-D plumping effect, and Ronasphere helps to correct skin tone. As with all Rodial products, it also contains pomegranate ellagic tannins, which boast natural anti-aging, firming and collagen-promoting properties.

How to use it

Gently massage onto cleansed face and neck, focusing on areas with expression lines – between the eyebrows, on smile lines and around the eyes. Allow to absorb fully before applying moisturizer. For best results, use twice daily.

The bottom line

I'm not a big fan of snakes, so I was understandably wary of this product. Turns out that venom isn't such a bad thing where wrinkles are concerned, though. This serum really did plump up my fine lines, making those nasolabial folds I resent so much virtually non-existent. I'm not sure what I'll do when I run out of this product, but maybe I can persuade a smooth-talking snake to help me out.
