Party photos of the week: Burberry and La Société party
Designer label Burberry and local restaurant La Société were in the festive spirit on Dec. 11, as the two Bloor Street residents paired up to throw an evening of fashion and food for an intimate group of 50 people. Kicking off the night London-style at Burberry’s flagship store, the stylish set indulged in a champagne reception and ogled pieces from the new Burberry Prorsum Spring 2014 collection before travelling across the street – and metaphorically, across countries – where Charles Khabouth and Danny Soberano hosted a five-course Parisian dinner prepared by Didier Leroy at La Société. The only thing better than the food was the guest list, which included an eclectic set of Toronto partygoers from Barbara Amiel, Ivan Fecan and Sandra Faire to Jian Ghomeshi, Kirstine Stewart and Zaib Shaikh. parties@globeandmail.com
