Party photos of the week: Pan American Food Festival opening night
The second annual Pan American Food Festival kicked off last Friday with a Peruvian-inspired opening night reception. Held at Daniels Spectrum, the community hub in Regent Park, more than 350 guests, including mayoral candidates Olivia Chow and John Tory who stopped in to make their rounds, mingled and nibbled on snacks from four different Peruvian chefs, with bottomless pisco sours to wash it all down. The festival represented 23 countries from North, South and Central America and the Caribbean, and fed more than 25,000 Torontonians over the weekend. parties@globeandmail.com
