Encourage your guests to get their hands dirty at your next buffet supper with this fresh salad idea. Insert stemmed greens, such as watercress, wheatgrass or mache, into short glasses, jars or pots, then fill the vessels in with soil or water to create a "planted" or "bouquet" effect. Set the vessels on your buffet table along with a couple of simple dressings and include a few pairs of small scissors so your guests can clip their way to a sensational little starter.
