Use colour blocking to create a statement centrepiece

Take decor direction from the spring fashion runways by incorporating the art of colour blocking into your next lunch or dinner party, creating layered floral vignettes with extra visual pop. Arrange tinted vases holding vibrant blooms of contrasting shades atop a bright solid tablecloth in yet another vivid but complementary hue. The result: an instant, easy-to-pull-off statement centrepiece.

Chef Michael Tong is the owner of Toronto's Sublime Catering.
