Forget about plaid shirts, tattoos and fixed-gear bikes: Urban beekeeping is the latest hipster craze to flourish. One proponent, Toronto-based Nude Bee Honey Co., brings a refreshingly modern take to the sweet and sticky business. Partnering with local independent beekeepers, twentysomething entrepreneurs Edward Okun and Jared Cantor package and distribute their all-natural raw honey from a warehouse in the city's Kensington Market district. And if you live in downtown Toronto, they'll personally deliver your jar of honey for free … on a bike, of course.
